Our Favorite Work From Home Outfits

I think we can all agree that a lot has changed in the last week. Like many businesses across the country, at Veronica M we’re trying to do our part by encouraging employees to work from home and practice social distancing. We know this isn’t an option for everyone, and if you’re still going into work or you’re unable to work at this time we’re sending our love to you. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy, and we join the rest of you in hoping for a positive resolution to our current situation. For everyone who’s transitioning to a work-from-home schedule for the first time, we know it can be tough to separate your home life from your work life. When your office is also your bedroom, sliding back under the covers is more tempting than ever! My number one tip for working from home? Create a morning routine and get dressed for work every day. It’s definitely tempting to spend the whole day in pajamas (anyone else guilty?), but getting ready for work the same way I did when I had to commute helps me to wake up and feel ready for my day. This is what I’ve been wearing on repeat as I work from home! My go-to top this week has been the Black V-Neck Long Sleeve Crop Top. This is the perfect top for getting into a working mindset while staying home. It’s comfortable and easy to wear, but the v-neck makes it feel more dressy and professional than a plain long-sleeve black shirt. I’ve paired this top with almost every pair of bottoms I own - joggers, jeans, skirts, and more. This top makes a great staple piece that you can wear so many different ways and in every climate! One of my dressier go-to tops is the Sand Tie Dye Bell Sleeve Top. I love the subtle tie-dye pattern on this top that is muted, but still fun and eye-catching! The bell sleeve detail and front tie hem add a bohemian feel to the more structured silhouette, so I feel dressed up without being too over-the-top. I’ve been pairing this piece with my dark wash skinny jeans throughout the day and throwing on a pair of sandals when I take my dog for his afternoon walk. The Black Jogger Jumpsuit is one of my favorite working-from-home outfits for three reasons. Number one, the elastic waist and signature Veronica M ITY fabric make this piece super comfortable. Number two, it looks amazing dressed up or down so I can wear it however I want to depending on the day. Number three, I don’t even have to think about what I’m wearing - I can just put on this jumpsuit and suddenly I feel dressed and prepped for a full day of work! If you don’t have a black jumpsuit in your wardrobe already, this piece is a must-have! Working from home doesn’t mean giving up accessories. The Luna Gold Earrings have quickly become my new favorite pair of earrings! I love the mix of bold geometric shapes and delicate etched details in these earrings that feels sophisticated and beautiful. The design is striking but still easy to style with almost any outfit.
