Some say spring is the season of new beginnings. The season of April showers and May flowers. The season of “spring cleaning” and finally getting organized. But at Veronica M, spring is the unofficial season of brunch. I mean, is there anything better than meeting the girls for weekend brunch alfresco on a sunny-but-breezy spring morning (or, no shame, afternoon)?
Well, there may be one thing better than brunch — and that’s a good brunch outfit. After all, you know photos will be taken and Instas will be tagged. You might as well be prepared.
Ahead, Veronica M plans out all of your brunch looks for the season ahead, so you can focus on making the hard decisions... like whether to order the mimosa or the Bloody Mary, natch.
Cardi + Tank + Jeans
For a casual brunch date, go for something cozy and cute — like our Heather Grey Knit Cardigan (sooo comfy) and the Tabitha RuffleTank. Pair the combo with jeans and slip-on sandals for a look that’s easy to wear but still elevated.
All Black Everything
You can’t go wrong when you keep it simple. If you’ve overslept and are running late for brunch (or really, for anything) this no-fail outfit will have you covered: The Black Surplice Cami with Banded Tie paired with our Black High Waisted Joggers. Both pieces are basic enough to go with everything, but have a little something special — like the fashion-forward jogger fit of the pants and the banded waistline of the tank. Want to add some intrigue? Throw on these Woven Hoop Earrings and go.
Off-the-Shoulder Top + Culottes
Experiment with spring silhouettes by grabbing the Ariella Floral OTS Ruffle Top (which features an off-the-shoulder fit, a ruffled neckline, and a floral print — so on-trend ) and tucking it into Veronica M’s Black Culotte Pants with Tie. The ensemble feels elegant, but still wearable for everyday.
Dress + Floppy Hat
Ready for the easiest brunch outfit ever? Pull the Crane Flare Sleeve Dress over your head and top it with the Navy Blue Fedora. The combo is super simple — just two pieces — yet looks totally stylish and pulled-together.
One Piece Outfit
Weekend mornings are supposed to be relaxed and carefree, not spent worrying about what you’re going to wear. If you don’t want to think about finding a clean blouse to match your leggings, don’t — just pull on a one-piece jumpsuit or romper instead. These kinds of pieces are Veronica M’s speciality, so you have your pick of styles to choose from.
If you like to show a little leg, opt for the Ximena Romper. Want to make a look-at-me style statement? The Easton Jumpsuit is the perfect sleeveless style. Those with more understated fashion preferences will love the Debbie Jumpsuit, a plain black, wear-with-anything, must have. As the weather warms up, swap out The Debbie for the Black Romper-Skort, which is just as wearable (with a little less fabric).
